As part of your development, a Travel Plan has been prepared which sets out the objectives and benefits of the Travel Plan. This document also sets out the targets and measures which will be in place across the monitoring period. The objectives of the Travel Plan include:

• Reducing Single Occupancy Vehicle (SOV) use;
• Increasing the number of residents using public transport; and
• Raising awareness of sustainable travel amongst residents.

Targets will be set following an initial baseline survey and will be agreed with Hampshire County Council. The success of the Travel Plan will be measured on whether the targets have been achieved and will be reviewed throughout the 10 year monitoring period.
